DJ Grizz- New Funk 12

The New Funk series reaches a Dirty Funky Dozen with Vol.12. 10 tracks from recent bands who get their inspiration from the 60's and 70's.

We kick off with a Madlib produced Sound Directions, next Aussie band Randa & the Soul Kingdom (Oz bands seem to embrace this genre!), we have Brazil big band Funk Como le Gusta covering a Jazz Funk gem, 2 Northern Soul inspired tunes 1st from The Transatlantics (another Oz band!) and then Essex's own veteran singer James Hunter with his new single (so up to date for me... i've a nosebleed!!!), we've a James Taylor hammond heavy cut, a Jestofunk cover, and finishing with something a bit different from a UK band who've captured that old Rock Steady sound.

Catch you in a week- Mr S up soon!
