Slightly earlier than anticipated- the latest installment of the Lovers Rock mix featuring tunes from Vivian Jones, Paulette Walker and The Investigators.However the main reason I've brought this post forward a week or 2 is so I can include a track by the 'cool ruler' himself who passed away last week. An 'adopted' Londoner, Gregory Issacs was considered by many to be one of the originators of the Lovers Rock sound. We raise a glass here at 'The Soul Mixtape'!
Next week I'm reviving a SoulNRnB format with an old school Soul/Jazz live mix! Mr SoulNRnB himself will be with you at the weekend.
