DJ Ridym - Rare Soul Mix 2

Well mixtapers I enjoyed the first one so much I thought I'd hit you up some more rare soul treats for your listening ears you lucky lucky people! This time around I have shuffled the pack and come up with some fantastic female vocals from Alicia Myers, Inner Life and Candy Bowman. Two from Luther Vandross in Charme's version of the Toto classic 'Georgy Porgy' and 'My Sensitivity'. Big tune selection with Otis, L.T.D, Beau Williams and Clausel.

The rest of the mix is just what the doctor ordered  and with winter drawing in and the clocks going back in dear old Blighty you can rest assured we got you covered here at the Soul Mixtape HQ.

SoulNRnB & Gimmesomesoulfood Present: Urban Soul 3

Its been a while since we had one of these, but weve got together with that great blog "Soul Food Hungry?" to produce a selection of modern soul and RnB tunes.

A real great selection here, from an unreleased tune by a group I really love called Aaries (Been trying to track down that unreleased CD for years), a rare tune from Joe, Illmatics great Remix of an En Vouge tune, all finished off with a little SoulNRnB mesh (a la The Soul Mixtape) of a Yazarah tune and the Salaam Remi remix of ABC by the Jackson 5.

Time to get things up to date again, and heres another modern compilation from myself and Gimmesomesoulfood.

Again, these compilations are useful to highlight some of the better modern soul tunes around at the moment and due to be released. Some may even be left on a shelf!

Its time for something more up to date.

I know alot of people are missing the Gimmesomesoulfood Blog and I'm happy to say that weve got together to compile an unmixed compilation of modern soul and RnB. Personal track selections from both of us including pre release and unreleased tracks that we hope will whet your appetite and make you support the artists!

I remember collecting the UK Street Sounds compilations back in the day (A long time ago) and hearing tracks from artists I never heared of. This made me seek out other stuff from them, which in turn exposed me to more and more music. I hope that the mixtapes and comps here will do the same for you too!!
