A long overdue tribute today to one of the greatest voices in music... period! Ms Aretha Franklin! A string of hits in the 60's, 70's and 80's , the biggest star on Atlantic Records, the Queen of Soul still performs today at the age of 75! Here's a selection of my favourites from her huge back catalogue.

We start with her electrifying version of a Marvin/Tammi hit, a Rare Groove party fave features in It Only Happens, we've a great No.1 from 1973 in Until You Come Back To Me, there's Arethas take on the Nina Simone anthem , Young Gifted and Black and we end on the marvellous Natural Woman.. plus more Aretha greats!
