Artists like Roy Ayres, Manzel, Lonnie Liston Smith, Ronnie Laws, Dexter Wansel and more bring those classic Jazz-Funk vibes but with a Cosmic, Mystical theme throughout. This form of music has morphed into the "Soulful House" and "Lo-Fi" genres in recent years, but these are the originals; Tracks with musicality, soulfulness and a great groove!
Some personal faves on this: Kool and the Gang's classic Summer Madness, Asha Puthli funky Space Talk, Cloud One's Dust to Dust, as well as a few little known gems.
