We begin with 2 tracks from bands that started just up the road from me in North London in Light of The World and Hi Tension, Wandsworth's own Junior comes next, there's rare early 70's funk from FBI, jazz-funk from Londoner Nick Straker, Wembley gives us Maxine Nightingale, from just around the corner to my beloved West Ham United comes East Hams' Linda Lewis, we've reggae from the capital in Brown Sugar (a band where Soul II Soul's Caron Wheeler got her start) and end with some Acid Jazz (the record label based in East London) from local lads Corduroy!
