DJ Grizz- More Soul & Jazz Versions

Another helping of Soul and Jazz Funk artists covering familiar tunes in there own inimitable style.... its the More Soul-Jazz Versions mix.

Todays smorgasbord starts with a pretty faithful 2000 version of the Larry Young funk monster, includes a Latin take on the often covered Light My Fire, Penny Goodwin jazzes up Marvin, there's a nice version of the Barbara Streisand blues party wind-down anthem, a left field take on the Bacharach classic, ands end with jazzman Oscar Toney Jr and his interpretation of the Bread song (and as well known as a Ken Boothe reggae hit) and much more....!

Over December SoulNRnB has some big names contributing to the blog and I've my traditional offering of Soul Xmas tunes plus something to get the party going!

Enjoy!!
