SoulNRnB's Street Sounds Sessions 103

Welcome to our latest Upfront mix! 14 Tracks of Soulful music in all its forms.

Our cover star, Joanna Borromeo, released her excellent new LP this week (You can get it at http://joannaborromeo.bandcamp.com/ ) and we've got a favorite tune of ours, "Outside", featuring on this mix. Really worth a purchase, loads of super soulful tunes. If you liked the EP from last year (On our best of 2012 list!) then this Independent release is worthy of your support.

But that's not it; W'eve got the return of Joe with an old school style tune; New artists Kissi B, AB, and a great tune from I Ced; as well as tunes from the great Incognito founder, Bluey, and a touch of hip hop from Redman & Method Man which is more soulful than you'd expect from those names.

All in all a great mix if we do say so ourselves! Grizz back with you at the weekend, see you next week with another GEMS mix,

SoulNRnB's RAW (Rare and Wanted) White Label

Here we go with another white label mix of tunes that'll make you dig out Shazam or Soundhound to help you identify the tunes! If they're able to!

So, for those that like to do some soul music train spotting, here are some clues:

1) An unreleased tune from the mooted follow up to one of my picks of the best LP's of the Noughties.
2) A tune from a well known "House" producer/artist, featuring an 80's soul singer thats a 2 step classic.
3) A slept on 90's slow jam.
4) Unreleased 70's Jazz funk with a hint of the Mizell Brothers.
5) A brand new track, featuring the great Omar, that isn't from Positive Flow.

Very Soulful mix this month, really hope you enjoy it. Feel free to hit us up on Facebook or Twitter with comments, suggestions etc

Grizz back with the old school at the weekend, See you next week with the new Edition of Street Sounds Sessions featuring a tune from the brand new Joanna Borromeo LP.
